Sparrow Rainbow Village is one of the world’s first Aids hospices and orphanages. They provide home based care, education, training, and counselling. Rainbow Village does their absolute best to provide a home-like atmosphere for these children so that they can rise to their full potentials. They attempt to find adoptive families as well, but in reality, not many leave the orphanage. Now more than ever, during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been difficult to raise funds and supply food for all the children. Thankfully, a group of hunters from Pretoria, who had heard about the orphanage’s struggles, shot and processed around 60kgs of meat into mince and mince patties, and dropped it off by the orphanage in Johannesburg.
